
About Dr. Dan Graser

Dr. Dan Graser is presently Professor of Saxophone at Grand Valley State University and soprano chair of the world-renowned Sinta Quartet. SQ are among the most active chamber ensembles around having won top prizes at Concert Artists Guild, the Fischoff Gold Medal, Grand Prize of the Coleman Competition, 1st Prize from the Mprize Chamber Arts Competition, and 1st Prize from the North American Saxophone Alliance Competition. They can be heard on the CAG and Bright Shiny Things Labels. In addition to his university students at GVSU, Dan maintains a private studio in the Grand Rapids area of Michigan. Dan received the Doctorate and Masters Degrees in saxophone from the University of Michigan studying with Donald Sinta and Bachelors Degrees from the Crane School of Music in New York studying with Timothy McAllister.
