About Mike Casey

Mike Casey is a New York based saxophonist, composer, and producer experimenting with a variety of styles of music. A graduate of the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz (Hartt School) and Berklee's Valencia program, he's collaborated with GRAMMY nominated artists as diverse as Nat Reeves, Benito Gonzalez, Brandee Younger, Zaccai Curtis, Justin Faulkner, and Marc Cary, through his project “The Harlem Sessions”. Through his apprenticeship with Cary (which began just two months after graduating from Hartt in 2015), he has performed at the NYC Winter Jazz Fest, Lincoln Center, NYC SummerStage, Ginny’s Supper Club, and Cape May’s Exit Zero Jazz Festival. Mike has also led his own band at some of the top jazz venues in the USA and Europe and releases his 4th album Law of Attraction throughout 2020.
